Highlights from the InfoComm shows
InfoComm is famous for their huge trade shows. You can see all of the newest AV and related technology showcased and learn just a ton of new things. I couldn't go this summer since I was on vacation but I heard it was excellent.
Essentials of the AV Industry
Started taking the Essential of the AV Industry class from InfoComm. Will be working to get my CTS certification. That's Certified Technology Specialist for those of you who are not tech nerds. :-)

How to make Settler's Baked Beans. Yumm!
This is my version of a popular, meaty, baked beans recipie
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bacon, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (16 ounce) can great northern beans or white kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Brown beef, bacon and onion together in a large skillet. Drain fat.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
Mix and cook on low for 6 hours or more.
Enjoy!
